Oak Park Avenue Baptist Church went to the neighborhood of Austin in Chicago for a week and a half mission trip. We cleaned the streets, helped put on a carnival, painted rooms, demolished a wall, ripped up carpet, removed door and window frames, and put on a free four day vacation bible school for the kids.

JD Productions was formed to shoot a documentary on University of Iowa Football recruit Ben Pohl. Ben chose to focus on his classes and went on to study Pre-med at the University instead of playing football. As a rookie on Iowa's rugby team, Ben received the Most Valuable Rookie Forward from his teammates. The documentary was cancelled but is discussed on JD Productions: In the beginning. 1st Team All Conference Running Back Tony Manriquez broke the conference record for receptions (80) in a conference that featured now University of Iowa Wide Receiver Colin Sandeman.
