DJ Halferty - Sean Collins
DJ Halferty says he always knew he wanted to be a writer of some sort. And now at only 22 he's successfully doing just that. After graduating high school in 2004, DJ moved to Los Angeles and signed with his first literary agent. Opportunities didn't exactly come knocking, but he continued to write and improve his craft. In 2006 he teamed up with writer/director Kevin Callies on a family/adventure script, The Boy With A Cape, which is now repped at Abrams Artists Agency. In 2007, his spec script, Greenland, was optioned. He is currently co-writing Indie director Iris Green's next feature, 3 Things About Love and Loss, as well as writing a Thriller spec, and he's in talks for a rewrite assignment.
In 2008, DJ made his acting debut in Jimmy Morrison's low-budget Indie, Eternal Punishment. DJ is currently repped by Justin Olsen at Rebel Entertainment.
